The Aurora One Fund has grown from helping maintain the Aurora Memorial Library and now supports more than 15 organizations in the community thanks to the generous support of residents and businesses.
Established in 1960 to provide funding to maintain the new library and in 1974 began providing financial assistance to other programs including Boy/Girl Scouts, Volunteers of America, and the Children’s Advocacy Center. Through grants and donations, the Aurora One Fund fosters philanthropy and voluntarism, ensuring essential services and resources are available to those in need within the community.
Aurora One Fund is managed by an all volunteer advisory board, including the Executive Director. The board members come from every corner of the city and represent the community to ensure the needs of residents are being met. These volunteers ensure that more than 90% of every donation is delivered to those in need.
